Buying Eco-Clothing From Pop-Up Boutiques
If you live anywhere close to New York City and you’d like the chance to buy some seriously cool, high fashion eco-clothing, then you’ll want to head over to Grand Central terminal starting April 19.
What’s going on?
Well, to celebrate Earth Day, The Green Shows (the only fashion show that only showcases sustainable/eco designers) will be putting up their EcoLux boutique in the Grand Central terminal’s Vanderbuilt Hall, at 42nd St. and Park Avenue.
What does this mean?
It means that those of you lucky enough to live in the Big Apple will have the chance to see some amazingly cool and posh designers right up close. And, you’ll have the opportunity to buy whatever you love from the EcoLux boutique.
Who’s going to be there?
Hang on to your hats….
And no, that list doesn’t everyone that’s going to be there. Not even close. Trust me, the list is long and if you’re at all interested in eco/sustainable fashion and fair trade, this is not an event you’ll want to miss.
There’s also going to be fair trade/eco make-up consultations, fair trade chocolate, and even a fair trade juice bar.
The EcoLux boutique will be in the station from April 19 through Saturday, April 24. It will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
