When it comes to green style, usually I randomly surf the web to see what top designers are up to. But I recently discovered an amazing, online-only magazine with gorgeous pictures, and an inside track on what’s going on in green fashion.
World, meet EcoStyle Magazine.
EcoStyle was created in 2009, and its goal is to bridge the gap between fashion and sustainability. And, it does this with aplomb.
The wonderful thing about this digital magazine is that the visual impact rivals magazines like Vogue, Fashion, and Elle. The photographs are professional and artistic, and the content short and snappy.
As you can probably guess, the magazine focuses exclusively on green and sustainable style. If you want to know what the world’s top eco designers are up to, then this is where you’re going to find it.
They also have a wonderful blog. My “Don’t Miss” pick is their “What to Wear This Weekend” feature. They put together a complete outfit (all green!), complete with accessories and makeup.
I love this magazine because, so far, they’ve introduced me to some amazing green designers that I didn’t even know existed. For instance, I’ve fallen in love with Christine Marchuska and Brooke Bresnan’s line, C. They have a fabulous hooded dress in this month’s issue that I would lovelovelove to have hanging in my closet.
So, if you want to keep your eyes on the green fashion world (or you just want a more sustainable option than Vogue) give EcoStyle Magazine a look. It’s a wonderful magazine that I’ll definitely be reading every month!
