Blog Profile: Greenola Style

I love talking about other fair trade retailers. Here at Earth Divas we definitely feel that the more we promote people who are doing good, the better all of us are.

Well, Greenola is definitely a business that’s doing good.

What Greenola Does…

Greenola distributes wonderful fair trade wraps, scarves, bags and jewelry. Take a look:

Gorgeous, right? I love the red wrap.

Greenola also sells these wonderful, hand crotched necklaces:

Greenola was founded by Jen Moran. She “caught the travel bug early”, and spent quite a bit of time in Bolivia, Thailand, Austria, Slovakia, France, Peru and Ireland. On her travels she saw quite a bit of poverty and suffering, and she realized, at 27, her life’s calling: to start a business that would not only allow her to fuel her own passion and creativity, but one that would help alleviate the poverty she saw around the world.

Here at Earth Divas, that’s a mission we can get behind!

Why I Love This Business

I love what Greenola is doing for several reasons. They’re committed to fair trade, they’re helping alleviate poverty, and they also work with emerging artists and designers to help their exposure.

Greenola also has a wonderful blog, where they talk about fair trade issues, green fashion, and emerging designers.

Anyway, they’re a wonderful little company that is doing a lot of good in the world, so I wanted to help spread the word about what they’re doing.
