Finding amazing companies that are doing good for the world is always like finding a small treasure in the sand. And, I feel like I’ve found another one with Yala! EcoFabulous profiled on them this week and as soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to spread the word here too!
Yala is the type of clothing that you’d want to wear if you were about to set off around the world on a wonderous adventure. Their clothing is comfortable and relaxed, yet still stylish so you don’t feel frumpy and ruffled as you transition from plane, train to automobile. I love it! They also have a wonderful baby and toddler line that is incredibly cute.
And the best part? Yala’s clothing is made with eco-friendly bamboo.
The company also makes sincere efforts to lessen their impact on the environment.
They’re a Green American approved business, and also participate in Carbon Neutral Shipping. Their trucks are 100% electric (really!) and they’re members of the Organic Trade Association. All their bamboo fabric they used is Oeko-Tex Certified, which means it’s been tested for harmful substances.
Plus, all their fabrics are dyed using Azo-free dyes. The water (once it’s done being used in the dying process) is then cleaned by microorganisms, and then reused. Amazing!
I wish I could post a ton of their clothing up here for you to see; unfortunately (for us) it’s protected on their site so I can’t pull it off to show you. But, head over to Yala to see their wonderfully relaxed and stylish clothing. Their Pashbu scarves are especially lovely for Spring!
