As I write this, it’s a cool 64 degrees outside. It’s been raining for two days here, and after the sweltering hot, dry summer we’ve had, I’m welcoming every drop! However, this early glimpse of fall weather has me thinking about cozy, wool scarves.
1. Earth Divas Fair Trade Wool Scarf
The Earth Divas fair trade black scarf is one of my favorites because it’s so soft and cozy! Some people might think black is a bit bland, but black is actually one of my favorite colors to wear. The reason is because black looks great on just about any skin tone. It’s slimming. And it goes with just about everything; a black wool scarf is the perfect go-to accessory! Plus, ours is handmade in Nepal.
2. Wool Scarf from Guatemala
If you need a pop of bright color, then this fair trade scarf, sold by Global Goods, is for you. This scarf is handmade by Guatemalan women using a foot loom. This would be a perfect scarf to brighten up a dark and stormy fall day.
3. Fair Trade Afghan Scarf
I lovelovelove these scarves! These lovely scarves are fair trade and sold by Global Goods; they’re made by women in Afghanistan in the traditional Khamak style. I think the persian look is so wonderful and unique! These scarves are definitely a conversation-starter, and perfect for a chilly fall day.
